Beckington Astronomical Society
The Beckington Astronomical Society started as a small group interested in learning more about astronomy. After a few meetings an ‘open’ meeting was arranged in Oct 98 at which about 30 people attended. With helpful advice from the Federation of Astronomical Societies we established ourselves as a society and we welcome visitors and new members interested in learning about astronomy.
We meet monthly through most of the year and have a wide variety of speakers, demonstrations and talks by members.
