Accessing the Parish Registers
If you would like a lookup in the registers
we have in our churches, please e-mail
as much of the following information as you can.
Small searches only. This is a free service for
single searches, but donations in sterling for
the upkeep of our churches are always welcome,
(details of how to do this, on request).
Name of Church.
Baptism, marriage, or burial.
Surname.
Christian name.
10 year period to be searched.
We are happy to do larger searches, or the
extraction of a Name for a One Name Study. We are also prepared to search for memorial Inscriptions in the Church graveyards. For details please contact our Parish Register coordinator.
Searches in the Marriage Register from August 1986 and the
Burial Register from March 1954 are available by application to the above contact.
St. George’s Beckington :
Lookups available:
Baptisms 1874-1960. Burials 1954-date. Beckington Registers started in 1559.
Information from earlier registers can be
