Village Day

Our 2010 Village Day will be on June 5th at 11am.

The programme has not yet been finalised, but click here for the 2010 Event Programme

This event takes place each June at the Memorial Hall and adjacent Recreation Field.

There’s so much happening this year that we’ve had to bring the starting time forward to 11.00am. There’ll be plenty for all the family to see and do. Admission is FREE but all cars must follow the signs to the car park for which there is a £2-00 fee.

Paprika Balkanicus

Paprika Reloaded have performed their incredible fiery brand of traditional and gypsy music at Glastonbury, the Royal Festival and the Royal Albert Halls and have had sell-out tours as far away as Japan, Australia and New Zealand. It’s terrific that they are coming to Beckington and we must give them a great reception.

David Seamark and his Sheepdogs

David Seamark and his Sheepdogs will demonstrate the skills involved in shepherding sheep – but using geese! This is always fun as the geese often have their own ideas of how to entertain us. There will be opportunities for children to participate in these displays.

This is always a very popular event with FREE entry with a variety of craft, plant and other stalls, sideshows, children's rides, live music, good food, a bar and a number of arena events.

The Bathampton Morris Men are a firm favourite wherever they perform and we are very pleased to have them back in Beckington bringing a lovely country village atmosphere to our Village Day.
